Apricot Jam

Ingredients

Yields about 1 liter

1 kg apricots
100 ml (1 dl) water
60 g Hermesetas Granulated Sweetener or
9 Tsp liquid Hermesetas
2 Tbs thickener for jams

Preparation

Wash and stone the apricots. Cut into small pieces. Transfer to a pan, cover with water and add the Hermesetas. Bring to boil, cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until the fruits are very tender. Stir once in a while.

Add the thickener and Hermesetas while stirring continuously and cook over high heat for 1 minute.

Pour into jars and seal immediately.

Plum Jam:
Can be prepared in the same manner. However, they need somewhat less cooking time to reach the proper tenderness.
