Cherry Ice Cream

Ingredients

Serves 6

600 g dark cherries
4 Tbs Hermesetas Granulated Sweetener or 1Tsp liquid Hermesetas
½ lemon, juice
a few drops bitter almond essence
250 g low-fat curd

Preparation

Wash and stone the cherries. Chop coarsely and transfer to a bowl. Add the lemon juice, Hermesetas and the almond essence and stir well. Carefully fold in the curd. Freeze according to the machine directions.

Note:
This dessert can just as well be served as a cream. The cherries can be substituted with ripe apricots
