Orange Punch

Ingredients

1.2 litres

5 dl orange blossom tea
5 dl freshly squeezed orange juice
Grated rind of 1 orange
Grated rind and juice of 1 lemon
1 stick cinnamon
4 cloves
4 tbsp rum
4 tbsp Granulated Hermesetas
Lemon balm to garnish

Preparation

Combine orange blossom tea with the orange and lemon juice, and bring to the boil. Flavour with the grated orange and lemon rind, the spices and the rum, and sweeten.

Leave the punch to steep for a few minutes before pouring the hot punch into pre-warmed glasses. Serve with a garnish of lemon balm leaves.

Tip:
The same method can easily be used to make a non-alcoholic apple punch. For this, use non-alcoholic cider instead of orange juice, and replace the rum with a few drops of rum essence.
